Your girlfriend says you can have either a coffee bean roasting setup or a Blichmann beer gun for your birthday (Nov. 8th). You love beer, but you also love coffee. You have wanted to roast your own beans for a while now, but you also want to be able to bottle up kegged homebrew to send to competitions.
Which do you choose?
Roaster. Nothing better than picking up a new DIY vice. Couldn’t imagine living without mine.
Tough one. I’ve used one of those beer guns and it was pretty cool. Its nice because you can keg first and bottle when you want to.
The bean roaster would just be another hobby for me. That would not help my marriage ;-)
I would go for the roaster. You can always make a beer gun, but I doubt I’d be able to make a roaster.
